New Diagnosis advice please

New diagnosis and before diagnosis

Hi

i am nearly diagnosed and awaiting to see my MS nurse. I was referred by a neuro in another specialist field at Liverpool.

I live in the Manchester area and although happy at the Walton in Liverpool , I am concerned that I may find travelling to appointments difficult in future.

just wondered if anyone can recommend a Manchester based team to me for MS? I don’t want to get referred elsewhere before finding out others experience and recommendations.

Hi there

I’m on the diagnosis highway at the moment too. I started off at the Walton Centre but due to certain issues I asked to be referred to another neurologist. I have now been referred to Salford Royal who have a neurology service too. I have my first appointment under them on 8th February although the appointment itself is at a hospital closer to me.
