Neuroinflammatory Clinic After LP

I received the results of my second lumbar puncture yesterday which shows markers of brain demyelination. The consultant has said that given the liability of brain demyelination and the MRI also showing recent changes in lesions that he would refer me to neuroinflammatory clinic for a further opinion.
Has anyone ever been forwarded to the n.i.c. prior to DX?

I do at least have the peace of mind now that there’s definitely something going on and hopefully will start receiving help.

Nope, never heard of one of those. But it does sound as though you are on the road to more clarity, as you say.

Neuroinflammatory clinic I think is a slightly broader term than an MS clinic, so makes sense that they look at you, as they are more specialist than a general neurologist.
