Neuro referral finally!

Hi, fresh out the box to the site and the world of ms. I’m 33 from South West Scotland and have been referred to Neuro after months of GP appointments for dizziness, fatigue, pins and needles, numb loss of sensation in hands feet, face prominently on my left side, chest pains (hug?) pains in legs, hands, arms, joints, numerous choking episodes sometimes when eating sometimes when not, loss of concentration. I’ve had numerous bloods tests all come back clear apart from B12 which was low.
ECGs all clear when having numbness, loss of sensation in left side of body and chest pains.

The first time I experienced numbness in my left foot which went up my lower leg, left hand up forearm and left side of my face down my neck and tongue was almost 11 years ago, when I was 2 days overdue with my second child also had sciatica, carpal tunnel all of which I put down to carrying a 9.5lb baby but now I’m wondering was this the first symptoms of something?
Since December I have had vertigo, pains/ weakness in my legs and hands, experience the whole left side numbness in Feb, March, April. An ANP gave me amitriptyline to try and help with the pain and numbness, only on day 2 so can’t say much yet.
Anyway I can’t keep doing this, it’s affecting my personal and work life so I have booked an appointment with Neuro at a private clinic.

Anyone else experiencing this, nowhere near a diagnosis, don’t even know if it is MS but the more research I do the more it all fits?

I appreciate your frustration, but there are quite a few conditions that mimic MS and guessing really isn’t going to help.

I hope you get the certainty you need.

Hi, thanks for the link its an interesting read. I’m aware it could be numerous things and not specifically ms but this site has helped me to have a better understanding of my symptoms and that it’s not all in my head which I have been made to feel by numerous health professionals. Hopefully going private will be worth the money to get the answers I need.
