Need to shout.

When I joined the forum after my diagnosis a couple of months ago I was told that if I needed to shout or let off steam just do it. People on here would understand. So here goes. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF MY LEGS BLOODY HURTING AND THESE PINS & NEEDLES IN MY LEFT ARM NOT GOING. Thank you, I feel better for that!!

i’ll join you. when did i ever do anything to hurt them? (legs).

so why care they being so mean to me?

MS PAIN IS A TRUE PAIN. I WISH IT WOULD JUST SOD OFF.

i argue with various body parts when they are hurting.

and also with my bladder.

ha ha ha!

if we did this in public we’d be whisked off to a home for the bewildered.

hope your shouting has done the trick

I managed to walk up a great big tower on holiday last week with no pain and today I’m struggling to walk up a short hill from the corner shop. I HAVEN’T BEEN ‘OVERDOING IT’ - I’VE JUST BEEN LIVING! IS THAT TOOO MUCH TO ASK??? probably, yes, and of course, I’m very grateful that my holiday week was a good week, with just some nausea, foot tingling and pains in my arm…

On a more positive note, I’d really recommend Seville for an off-season holiday - it is flat and the main area is pedestrianised, which makes it accessible to get around. It looked like they’d given some thought to accessibility. And it is a fascinating, beautiful place to visit. And they like to have a nice rest in the afternoon, and the tapas make great small and speedy meals if you get overwhelmed by big plates of grub.

I’ve just fallen over again and feel very fed-up with it! I was outside putting the old newspapers in the recycling bin and pursued an empty loo-roll which had blown off on my neighbour’s drive and wham - think it must have been a drop foot, uneven paving or whatever.

Fell two weeks ago in a wedding-dress shop with my daughter (who is getting married at end of August.) On that occasion I fell on a part of the floor which was on two different levels - though clearly marked. Really embarrassing especially for the poor owner who thought it was his fault for not showing that the floor dropped slightly. I was reassuring him that it wasn’t his fault but that I have MS - all the while with blood trickling down my leg underneath my trousers and trying not to spoil things for my daughter!

I’m so careful - but obviously not careful enough. Grrr…

ah Lou, poor you.Having that fall and trying to keep a brave face for your daughter, bless you.
