Hi Guys,
I am wondering if anyone gets ,
well the only way I can describe this is that I am losing my mind.
"I feel so distressed and agitated , this has been happening a lot lately. I am crying for no reason. I just don’t no how to explain this to a dr without him thinking I am mad. This coming and goes over months I just feel I am having some sort psycotic episode ( cant spell it right) Is there anything I can do to help myself ( It like it not me and I just can help it)
Also can anyone tell me .
I have buring for years in my legs just along my thighs and no my shins and the front of my foot is burning. Does this mean anything.
I thank who every reads this post
Distressed
The best advice I can give you is to go and see your GP and tell him/her everything. It’s only by telling the complete truth that a doctor can work out what’s going on so no point in holding back!
Also, you sound like you might be depressed? If so, your GP can help a lot.
Your GP is also the first step to finding out what’s causing the burning, e.g. blood tests might show that it’s something simple like a vitamin deficiency.
So, a GP appointment (maybe ask for a double appointment?) and then take it from there.

Hi Anon, just want to agree with Karen. Go and see your GP and tell it exactly as you have on here.
There is lots of help for people nowadays including some very good drugs… but also therapy will which give you the opportunity to talk about how you feel in a safe and confidential environment.
GP’s see people every day with your level of distress so there is no need to worry. Your GP WILL help you.

Hallo my friend.
Am I right in thinking you have not yet had a diagnosis?
If this is the case, then I can relate to you entirely.
I have spent 14 years either in limbo or having neuros keep changing their minds as to what is going on in my body.
i dont think they realise just how badly we are affected when we are left to wonder what the chuff is happening to us.
In my early days, when I had severe spasms and mobility problems, I cried every day. The slightest task fet like a mountain. I almost stood on my head to get dressed back then. My GP listened and referred me to a neuro straight away.
Any good GP would do the same for you. These awful feelings in your legs will be caused by something and not your mind, I`m sure. But first, you have to make that apppointment. Take someone trustworthy with you, for moral support, eh?
i received a diagnosis on friday, which I have accepted and feel I can now move on from all the years of torment.
I hope the same for you love.
