My MRI result

Hello everyone

I am not seeking a diagnosis. Just sharing my MRI result with the group. “There are small T2 hyperintensites in the deep periatrial white matter of the parietal lobes as well as scattered punctate T2 hyperintensites in the subcortical white matter of the frontal lobes. These are nonspecific in etiology and a frequent incidental finding in adult patients”

My doc says there is nothing to be worried about and hasn’t scheduled any other tests. My symptoms have completely stopped but they included:

Tiredness
Headache
Chest tightness
Tingling toes
Joint pains
Spasm
Leg jerks
Itchy back
Severe cold and shivering

But they are all completely gone now. The twitching comes around once in a while and I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. On medication for that.

Should I push for further test or just get my mind off the issue?

Hi

I am not a medical person.
But I would be happy with your results.
At this stage I would not push for further tests

Thanks for the response.

I’m just a bit worried about the lesions.

A lot of adults have nonspecific lesions. They can disappear too.

Hypothyroidism may well cause some of those white hyperintensities. At least that is now being treated.
