I got this from the MRI scan. Should I be worried?
T2 hyperintensites in the deep periatrial white matter of the parietal lobes as well as scattered punctuate T2 hyperintensites in the subcortical white matter of the frontal lobes. These are nonspecific in etiology and a frequent incidental finding in adult patients.
I’m 42, male, black. Had a the following symptoms which have fully resolved:
Tingling toes
Spasm in leg and arm
Twitching
Shaking in hand
Joint pain
It is very natural to try and decode your MRI report and the reference is the best I have seen.
However I am not sure the value to you in getting on with your life beyond convincing you that you have a problem that is not your fault and helping you to decide about your treatment with DMTs.
There is a lot to take in but I am not convinced that it is valuable to spend too much time on the MRI reports.
