Hello,
I moved recently to London and found out that my younger brother has been diagnosed with MS, MS england is just 3 blocks away from my home in Cricklewood, so I was wondering if I could stop by the MS society with my brothers medical reports in order to have some treatment advise from you.
My younger brother (28 years old ) lives in Peru (our origin country) but I live in London, I would like to find a way to help him from here, if could you please help me with some medical opinion based on his medical report papers. Please advise to whom in the MS Society can I address an email regarding this subject.
thank you very much in advance.
best regards,

I am sorry to hear that your brother has been dx with MS. This must be particularly hard for you, being so far from him and also from your parents, who will also be feeling the distance, I am sure. For much of my adult life, I lived across the sea from my family (only Northern Ireland, so nothing like as far!) but when things were difficult the thing that we all missed most was just being able to reach out and hug each other. I really feel for you.
As I am sure you are well aware, there is no substitute for the advice that only your brother’s medical advisors can give him directly, but I am sure that people on here will help you as much as possible.

Hi Blanca,
I’m an admin from the MS Society UK. I’m sorry to hear your brother has been diagnosed with MS. You are very welcome to come to our offices in Cricklewood - please ring our reception to book an appointment with someone from our Helpline Team: 020 8438 0700.
We can talk through treatment options available and support you with information and emotional support. However, our Helpline Team isn’t medically trained, so we wouldn’t be able to read your brother’s medical notes or recommend any specific healthcare specialists.
It’s best if you brother sees a health practitioner in Peru. As alison100 said: your brother’s GP or health advisers are best placed to provide advice directly.
We had a look at what’s available in Peru and found two organisations that might be able to provide your brother with local support:
AsociaciĂłn Hecho con Amor: http://www.hechoconamor.pe/hca/
AsociaciĂłn Esclerosis MĂşltiple PerĂş: http://esclerosismultipleperu.org/
Do give us a call and a member of our Helpline Team can meet with you and talk things through.
Thanks,
Jenny (admin)

Blanca - Look at the facebook groups - Free lndeed Vitamin D Protocol - which is following Dr Coimbra’s treatment for MS and other auto-immune diseases. The earlier your brother starts on VitD3 and all the B Vits the better. You can see the Dr Coimbra Treatment on you tube.
I just wanted to say how kind and helpful Jenny’s reply must be for you.
