Hey all, After 3 weeks off work i am going to try and go back tomorrow … I have a walk from the bus to my work ( not risking driving it yet ) … and wondered what peoples thoughts were for music to keep me moving as such, plus it may help drown out my co workers no doubt bitching as i havn’t been there …
Open to all suggestions … xAnnax
I have been playing sports for a long time. What I like most is running long distances. I don’t always run the distance I want to. But music often helps me. Here are some of my favorites:
-
Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) – Kelly Clarkson
-
Don’t Stop Believing – Journey
-
Save the World – Swedish House Mafia
-
Get up Stand up – Bob Marley
-
Beautiful – Christina Aguilera
-
Tubthumping – Chumbawumba
-
You Gotta Be – Des Ree
At first I listened to songs in the soundcloud but then I realized that there are many other music streaming services from this list https://streamingsites.com/free-movies-streaming-sites/ where there are most of the original tracks rather than remixes. So now I use apple music
Good luck with the return to work…and the music choice.

Mozart symphony no.40
Any of the Strauss polkas, or a selection of them.
Tchaikovsky: Nutcracker Suite or Swan Lake excerpts.
Smetana: The Bartered Bride.
Prokofiev: Symphony no.1 ‘The Classical’
Hallelujah- (RockMlady)
Bach full tapping guitar- ( RockMlady)
This is the Sea- ( The waterboys)
Kielyn
Handel’s Harp Concerto - listened to it so often can’t get it out of my head.
Mendleson (sp) Piano Concerto 1
Mozart P C 21.
Have you come across the pianist Yuja Wang - massively impressed initially but not sure why but I have gone completely off her -
- come back Martha, all is forgiven!
The Waterboys (as Kielyn said) every single track excellent.
Deep Purple - “Hush”.
On a slightly lighter note: John Martyn, ‘Big Muff’.
Martha is a giant. I think she is without parallel on the current world
stage. Yuja Wang is fantastic but has the grow and mature. What a talent though!
