MS Possibly?

Hi. Sorry for asking what may be a simple question for those of you who are more knowledgeable.

I had an MRI last week for what they thought was a stroke but turned out to be a Hemiplegic migraine.

The MRI showed a small demyelinating plaque in the right frontal area which the consultant has referred to a radiologist and is to come back to me.

I’m worried as if i search this it comes up with MS but looking at everything I assume that its not MS unless there are multiple plaques?

Should i worry do you think? and what sort of questions should i be asking when they finally get in touch?

Thanks

Hope it isn’t MS but it might be. We can’t offer any insight without the scan - or a Doctorate! Keep chasing your Doctor - they may respond faster if you pester them.

Many thanks. I know i need to wait but somehow thats the hard part.

I keep looking on the other threads and finding myself realising possible ‘episodes’ ive had over the last couple of years but just put it down to getting older.

It would be a good idea to have a brief note of these with timescales as far as you can recall them. Maybe they’re relevant and maybe they aren’t, but doctors who are trying to build up a picture of what’s going on can find such things useful.
