Hi all, I’m just after a bit of advice. For the past 15 years i have had symptoms which always come up as MS. I never go to the doc because these symptoms often go away. I am writing now because the past few weeks i have had what i can only call rubber band wrist syndrome, feels like i have rubber bands on my wrists and my hands are tingly. i have had the same feeling around my ribs before as well. Other symptoms i have had are strobe lighting effect in eyes, numb legs, unbalanced when walking, blurred vision, feel weak when in the heat, dizziness, anxiety, panic attacks, and a new thing when i awake in the morning i feel the need to shout what i am dreaming about. Can anyone relate any of these symptoms to MS. I usually get them worse after a cold or flu. I am a healthy 43 yr old male. I don’t want to go to the docs as i feel like i’m lying as symptoms usually go away in time! i have also had slurred speech and sometimes i trip over nothing like my foot was glued to the floor. Any help would be most appreciated
Hi Derek,
I would really recommend going to see your Dr. If you can write down the symptoms you’ve had, when they started and how long they lasted it would help the Dr.
If Dr is concerned they may refer you to neurologist but at this stage your symptoms could be anything.
Dr Google is a dangerous tool!
Keep well.
