MS diagnosis by breath test?

Hi everyone,

Saw this in the paper today. I’ve heard of dogs diagnosing cancer using their sense of smell. Maybe there’s something in this?

if it does work it may mean people may not need all the invasive stest and can start DMD earlier which would be a good thing.

My dog acts weird some days around me. she creeps me out. will not leave me alone, and i know i am going to have a bad day. It works every time. if she washes my legs, its only when i am really stiff with spasms, she knows. she will cuddle up to me on the recliner to support me.

I do beleive in VOC. whether or not it will say MS or just indicate warning there is a disease about, who knows but anything is possible.

i dont mind MRI lol, its the spinal tap which is the worse and my neuro reckons it is fast becoming obsolete they are going back to using the less invasive VEP. Phew thank god for that.

ACTUALLY thinking about it Lucy acted very strangely with Mike before he died. she never washed his legs or feet but became very attentive towards him. I remember laughing at mike and saying jeez she is brave washing your feet lol (a standard joke with us too), but did she sense something was going to happen. I only just remembered it, but i was there the signs sure of it. I think if anyone has a dog, and they start to behave weird perhaps we need to take their attention a bit more seriously.
