I am having a MRI of brain and spine on Saturday and. Have been told it will take 45 minutes. I have rung the neuro secretary this afternoon and am trying to make an appointment to review the imaging, so being a little pro active. She has yet to call me back but I will try again tomorrow if she does not… Yvette
Thanks Yvette. I have a follow up appt with neuro but not for about 8-9wewks after the scan is going to be. Spoke to appt dept who said there is potential to bring it forward if anything found but not guaranteed and discuss it with the secretary. Not sure whether to discuss it now or once scan done Axx
Arwen I would say discuss it now. Even if nothing is found I think a discussion is still required, because you will still need an explanation as to what you are experiencing and to figure out what happens next. It’s crazy that the timescales are so long isn’t it!. Yvette
P.s. I suggest talking with he neuro secretaries, making friends with them, they can be an absolute godsend! If you ring the hospital switchboard they can put you straight through, ask for their extension for next time as well. Yvette
