I have recently been diagnosed with MS and been given a consultant and contact with a MS nurse. I am also 5 months pregnant and had an amazing obstetrician who dealt with me. This was at Gloucestershire NHS.
I have since moved to West Midlands to be closer to family and just for a better house, quality of life etc. I have reregistered to a new GP and am now worried that I’m going to have to begin the process again. All of my previous notes/appointments have been removed from my NHS app. I am considering booking an appointment and explaining where I was and what was agreed for the future previously by the consultants.
I have three questions -
Do you think that updating / explaining would be a fair request the GP?
Has anyone else moved areas and do you have any advice?
Will the notes/ appointments/ plans etc be carried over in full from Gloucestershire NHS to West Midlands?
