Hi everyone, Hope you are all as well as can be. Sunday, Mother’s Day my son who lives a fair distance away decided to send me some flowers, knowing how much I love them. They arrived a day late, dead as dead can be. I was so surprised as Marks and Spencer’s has such a good reputation. So my other half went into town and complained, still awaiting response. Was so disappointed. xx
i’m sure they will gift you something as compensation although it doesnt take away the disappointment.

What a shame - and something that does happen. l have an elderly relative, who sends mum, and l, on birthdays and xmas, flowers from Jersey - all boxed up. ‘Flying Flowers’. We have on several occasion a bad ‘bunch’. My daughter always contacts them - and in no time they replace them. But Marks and Spencers - now you would expect them to be very good.
When l came out of hospital - after my new knee op - a very kind friend, on here ,- sent me an arrangement from lnterflora - now that is 4 weeks ago - and apart from a few flowers that l removed last week - the rest are still looking good.
A large bunch of beautiful tulips bought from Tescos on Saturday had to be thrown out on Monday.
l have never told our elderly relative about the condition of some of the flowers he has had sent to us - as l would hate to upset him - but on the other hand l do feel he is wasting his money.
Now my bouquet from lnterlora - has been greatly admired. And when asked who they were from - l just say ‘Oh - its a secret admirer’. And why not!
Our local Waitrose - display all their flowers and pot plants in the entrance - where there are two sets of automatic doors and a overhead heater blasting away. One second they are hot - next they are receiving a cold blast of air. Seems such a waste. And l know that Aldi’s employees are not allowed to water all the flowers and plants they have on display - usually outside. lts a health and safety issue.
Oh that`s awful…compensation wont take away your loss on the special day.
All the same, I hope you do get some recompense…for you and your son.

Hi this happend to me. Email Marks and Spencer’s, tell them whats happend describe how the flowers looked when they arrived if possible take a photo of them and attach to email if possible. They should refund you and send you another bouquet , this has happend to quite a few people also interflora had problems. Hope this helps,
Thanks for all your replies, very much appreciated. M & S have now sent another bouquet and refunded my son £10. Although I’m grateful it was still a disappointment. It put a mar on the day. x x
