Hello again.
It looks like I’m becoming addicted to publishing recipes. It’s probably a reaction to two weeks of debilitating fatigue. It’ll end in overwhelming fatigue again I’m sure. But here is one for meat lovers. It’s easy to follow because I used pictures. I can’t show you the end result as it’s in the oven for the next day and a half.
Best wishes.
Can almost smell it Steve.
Like the look of your kitchen gadget to hold things in place while you cut etc. Could you share what it’s called and where I might find one please?
Hello Poppy.
It’s a game changer, to use the vernacular. It just takes all the danger out of slicing. I can peel, grate, slice bread etc. It’s not that good for actually slicing carrots and stuff on because it’s shiny plastic.
There is also this. It’s big and brutish and sometimes you need to show it who’s boss but again, it’s brilliant. I also use it for root veg.
The mini oven saves having to lift heavy hot pans. It can go anywheere and it truly rocks.

Now, how do I get permission for my sales pitch?
Best wishes. x
Thanks Steve. Great stuff. I could invest in one of them I think. Must look at what else is on the site.
I use my slow cooker for all sorts of stuff. Beef joints just melt in the mouth cooked this way, a bacon joint, baked spuds are so easy, even assemble a lasagna in it! I like to look of the chopper gadget but would be better if it could slice. I put pounds of carrots through my Magimix slicer. A little to thin really, great for adding to casseroles etc, but I prefer more of a bite as a side dish.
Do we get to see the finished beef dishes??
The finished dish is a bit obscured by a cheffy presentation. It was nice. Normally I’d do it with lamb but there was this lump of brisket in the freezer.
Best wishes. x
Off to read it now.

Didn’t fancy eating the sweet and sour chicken I’d done in slow cooker yesterday. Having a bit of a downer today for no real reason. Cornflakes filled the gap.
Hmmm.
Now I just had to go and get two of Tesco’s Finest dark chocolate covered cookies and made them disappear. Should have eaten properly really, shouldn’t I?!
