Hey, Butterfly, did you know that we are a rarity. Most people with MS are born in the autumn and winter. Strange but true.

That’s an interesting thought. You’d expect it to be related to the amount of vitamin D the mother absorbed during pregnancy, but it can’t be because the majority of the pregnancies of both Autumn and Winter babies would’ve been in the Spring and Summer. So it would have to be related to the vitamin D absorbed directly by the babies. (Obviously along with all the other factors like genetics, geography, viruses, etc.)

I was born in January.

“in my head i’m 24”

how i wish i was, brilliant age.

old enough to go to glastonbury and irresponsible enough to not have a mortgage.

happy daze!*

*not a mistake happy daze sums up my state of mind at 24.

Male, June 1950, born in Crouch End,(it became fashionable once I left), now living in Hampshire.

Oh Gosh,

All you young people. When I was your age, I was twice as old! I can actually remember the Battle of Britain.

Yes, that puts me into the 1930s.

Geoff

I didn’t know that !! Strange fact … Happy to be a rarity though

I’ll tackle the job of working out who gets the prizes on Thursday. Out tomorrow to my Chit Chat club for the desperate for company oldies!

Female 1947 - when I got my driving licence nearly 50 years ago and saw the expiry date of 2017 I laughed, but I’m not laughing now.

First experience with MS was optic neuritis in 1984, so will be 33 years in June.

I suspect when the fair Boudica weighs up the prizes, you may be entitled to claim one Geoff. I only wish I have your brainpower and wit if and when I reach your age.

The luscious and lovely …dadadddaa…

a close 2nd was dadadaddaa

Sue84…not 84 years of age, but born in 1948

And the daddy of the gang and therefore the patriarch, except he only gives the decade and not the actual year…

dadadddaaa…

c`mon…tell us the actual year the world was blessed for producing you…

dadadddaaaaa…

Dr Geoff!!! born somewhen in the 30s…

then next was twojob! born in 1949.

Now unless anyone knows different an wishes to call a stweard`s enquiry, this is the final result.

Oooeeer, I did promise prizes…hang on…let me think…I know…

a huge fanfare of virtual trumpets, followed by champagne and truffles…and a free trip to IOW, where you can have all the socks your feet can carry!!!

As for mesen, being a babe of the 50s, I need to go lie down in a darkened room…what with all this, my HSP tomfoolery and fighting with the pirates of the caribbean and a trip out this morning, I`m somewhat cream crackered this week.

love Granny Pollxxx

Um Poll

What about the youngest? I thought maybe Flutterby ought to get a virtual reward for being the actual youngest. And Poppy for being the youngest in her own head. Virtual socks and chocolates? Virtual Proesecco? Obviously Poppy is too young (in her own head) to actually drink, but she could have a virtual alcopop or whatever is popular with underage drinkers these days?

Definitely Flutterby. She’s barely out of the chrysalis!

As for me, well stuff the socks, virtual or otherwise. I really don’t wish to seem ungrateful but I can’t get 'em on by myself. The socky thingy gadget is a great help putting the on, which is all very well, but I just live for summer when I can don sandles and leave off the ruddy socks!

Those choccies though…virtual Black Magic? Green and Black’s? (Drool, drool) Bourneville as a rather cheap aternative? (This cat has standards you know)

Prosecco did you say? Erm, I think I just had a birthday and become of age to enjoy alcohol sensibly! Where’s the Bolly Daaahling ?

Awww thank you … in that case … I would love a knitted cozzie perhaps?? Feel rather left out that I never had one and the more garish the better x

Do you mean you want THREE knitted cossies?..or is that pressing the “post” key three times?

Hahaha I may have been a little post happy ! I think one gawdy knitted cozzie is enough for anyone . . . surely??
