magnesium oil

Need d3 mines healthy origins 5000 iu, just looked available amazon.

Apparently these can help, not stop relapses. Not sure how true but worth taking and getting levels checked.

Thanks Zoe…just ordered them. I feel like a right prat…I’ve been taking the wrong vit d for nearly 6 months!! Xx

lf your gp will not do a test for vitd3 [its a hormone] you can get a postal test done at CityAssays nhs lab B/ham - it costs £25- they send the kit and it is just a pin-prick - results back asap. Just google vitd3 testing.

Most GP’s are still in the dark ages. With this illness you have to look out for yourself.

Yes, Amazon still seem to be the best bet. l get my 10,000ius from there Healthy origins - 360softgel capsules for about £15-

l think most chemists and supermarkets only do 400ius.

lt is D3 that you need - and it is advised to take magnesium tablets with it. l take 750mg of magnesium - and l ‘spray’ now as well. Magnesium does have a laxative effect so be warned. lf you remember Epsom Salts - which is magnesium - that is what people took if for - as well as the improvement for rheumatism/arthritis.

Ok. I already take a combined magnesium and calcium supplement (400mg calcium and 200mg magnesium), vit b12 (250mcg), zinc (15mg) and omega 3 (1000mg). Plus the magnesium spray. To be fair my nurse advised me to take this cocktail but I don’t remember her specifying what levels and I just went online and bought them all without really thinking that there were different doses so I hope the rest are ok ?

I would be interested in the others to as I’m just taking the d3 and omega 3,6 and 9.no one tells you what levels to take. My b12 is 300, so I could do with adding that but ordered the wrong ones and now don’t know what to take. I’m going to see a recommend nutritionalist and herbalists next week, she sends hair samples/blood tests off and tells you what you are deficient in,and if you are allergic to anything. Maybe a load of rubbish but mother in law swears it saved her life by using this woman and she’s paying so might as well try it. What’s the bets she tells me to stop eating chocolate and dairy. Xx

Ha…don’t even bother to tell me to stop those !! I would like to say that chocolate is my guilty pleasure…but there’s no guilt attached !! And I just discovered that an evening chunk of Cadburys is magnificently complimented by a drink of chocolate alpro soya milk !! Yummmm

I will let you know what she says if only for the laugh factor, apparently she has a whole procedure for people with ms so should be an interesting hour. I did try a tread on b12 and dosage but didn’t get much responds maybe we need a new vitamin one with peoples recommendations and dosages. I’m also looking at c10 to help fatigue would like to know if anyone has tried it. Xx

Sorry cq10 x

I have just started a new thread…so lets see what we get. Xx
