Hi just wondering if this is normal. My wife had her lumbar puncture last week ( get the results on Monday ) and has noticed her leg which normally tingles at the best of times or has some numbness has got a greater amount of both now .I’m pretty sure it’s a after affect of the puncture, but wanted to put this out there to see.
Hi Beef, I also found my legs were worse following LP… however I’m not sure if it’s actually the LP that does it or the stress and worry about having the LP (stress being very bad for MS).
My legs settled down after a couple of weeks… so hopefully your wife’s will too.

I must agree with PatB, its a horrible experiance having a lp. Stress does not help with symptoms of ms. I had my lp then a few days later i had to go back to hospital with the worst headache imaginable. But like Pat said it settled down a week or so later. I hope it settles down soon.
