hello all!!

This is my first time on here so bare with this… how I need some advice please.

My wife has just got out of hospital on Friday after course 1 of lemtrada for her MS and she wants me to go back to work a week tomorrow. She is showing no real side affects and everything went smoothly (so far) except a little tiredness, I am worried about her and don’t know what to do so i wanted to know if anyone on here has any experience and can help me.

is there a helpline for people using lemtrada?

if so, that’s the place to go for advice.

i was on copaxone and used their helpline a couple of times.

it’s good that she is showing no side effects.

will your employer understand if you need more time off?

so if you go back next week and if it turns out that your wife needs you at home, will it be ok?

lemtrada sounds like the best treatment for ms so smile and stay positive.

Hi. Lemtrada is amazing and I am positive (as I can be ATM) and I’m yeah thanks I will look that up and I have a month booked off so I’m in week two now but I think if I go back leaving work again would be very difficult.

That’s great news that your wife is doing so well. As for when you should go back to work - don’t ask us, just listen to her!

I went back to work a week or so after Lemtrada.

I went back within a week too. As long as your wife doesn’t have some strange reaction you are probably fine to go back to work next week. Good luck with it all!

Thank you and no no horrible side affects so I’m back to work thank again for the support this is all a bit new and everyone’s made it easier for the both of us thank you all.
