I wear a leg brace for dropfoot, but due to go to Menorca this summer. want to know if anyone uses a smaller brace that finishes round the ankle and where did you get it.

The leg brace helps but will be uncomfortable in hot weather

Try this website. I use one of the ankle types called ‘FootUp for Dropfoot’ and it was provided by my Physio department.

I got mine off the physio she gave me both types a shoe and shoeless one. I found the Matrix one wasn’t for me as it didn’t fit in all my shoes and I couldn’t wear sandals with it. You need the measurement around your ankle as they come in different sizes. I bought a beige one myself off the website mentioned in the previous post by Alun.

I’ve used a SAFO since 2007. It’s been great for me at combatting drop foot.

l too have had a SAFO - for about 10 yrs - you can wear it on its own - barefoot if you want. What a difference it makes - and it is flesh coloured - so not too noticeable. lt makes such a difference.

Hi cardo, a small brace take a look at footdropsolutions.co.uk, i got one very small lightweight and works. menorca wow lovely island been there a few times. gd luck.

Thanks, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to put foot size, is it one size fits all ?
