LDN Help please

Hello there, I’m new to this so please excuse me.

Does anyone know of any GPs in the Swansea or South Wales area who is prescribing LDN on the NHS? My doctor is looking into it and will consider it if he can discuss things with another doctor who is already doing it.However he isn’t interested in private prescribers as he says that is a different situation. As you may know GPs are very wary as its not licenced specifically for MS but it is used for drug and alcohol addicts who can get it on the NHS - would you believe!!

I need this info ASAP if I am to persuade him which could in turn save other MS sufferers who want to try it or people who I know are already taking it privately, a small fortune!!

I would love there to be a national list with regard to this available free online in order to benefit as many people as possible.

As yet I cannot comment personally but would very much like to give it a try based on what I have researched and current users I have met. It isn’t a cure or a miracle drug and doesn’t suit everyone but is worth investigating fully.

Please help me if you can and it will hopefully help others too

I tried LDN (a GP was good enough to write me a private prescription) a few years ago, but - sadly - it had no effect on me (good or bad) whatsoever.

There crosed this off the list of possible treatments.

This is purely my personal experience and I can’t help but be a little jealous of the many people who enjoy very real benefits with this !!

Definitely give it a try, Ally, as it may well work wonders for you. Just be ready (…as with all medications) in case it doesn’t help you like it may help others!!

Been on LDN for 5 years then best thing iv’e done.I get mine via E-med via Dicksons in Scotland . Your right it dose’nt work for all but there is not a lot else.Talk to the pepole at LDN trust or Dicksons chemist ,im sure they will give you all the info you need.
