Hi All hope you are well and had a lovely christmas and new year! Had a rubbish start to the week and just wanted to talk to you guys about it. Had so much stress since Monday and I just cant seem to function. Im constantly tired, cant seem to eat and as you can probably imagine my ms is now playing up. The good old jelly legs have returned and i just dont know what to do to try and get myself out of this mess! On the plus side iv lost a few lb but I work full time and im just drained. Any ideas would be appreciated xx
Thanks for the advise J. Its appreciated xx
Hi Sammie, this stress you talk about…is it an on-going problem, or is it short term? If it is on going then perhaps you could think about tackling the cause.
If it is to do with your work, then does your employer know of your condition? If not then maybe you could talk to someone at work about it and it could be possible, that changes can be made to make things easier for you to manage.
Or do you think you might be better off reducing your hours, either temporarily or even permanently?
Continuing at the current pace, will do you no favours in the long run, hun.
Losing weight through not eating properly is never a good idea. Smiler has given you some suggestions about what to eat, to keep your energy up.
luv Pollx
Hi Poll Stress is hopefully short term. This is going to sound pathetic but my fiance brought me a pet baby bunny for christmas and she wasnt well and passed away Monday. The vets she was at left her unattended for 16 hours and when i picked her up on monday morning she was a bag of bones and on deaths door. I took her straight to another vets who did everything they could but due to the neglect of the other vet she couldnt be saved. My little bella dying was hard enough but know I seem to be fighting the vets that neglected her rang me and wanted me to cough up more money after paying them £110 for nothing so the stress is on going. Work is also a stress as I feel like they are trying to get rid of me since i was dx in June and have considered cutting down my hours but its not an option financially at the moment. My nurse has told me i should be able to get pip but waiting for my forms to come through. My appetite has appeared this evening thanks to my lovely mom cooking my favourite for me to pick up on the way home. I really do appreciate both of your advice xx
This may or may not work for you but when i feel i need a boost or know i have to have a bit of energy i take manuka honey. I also find that following a diebetic diet or rosemary connelly diet advice where its slow releasing energy foods diet has worked wonders for me
