Hi all,
I got diagnosed in April of this year.
My Father has been battling Cancer for the past 16 years so yes i did put my MS on the back burner and buried my head in the sand as i was taking care of my Father. I lost my Father a month ago and i am so overwhelmed.
Today i was contacted by MS nurses on my treatment options.
I have to choose and just not sure about what to do.
I have tried reading info on both treatments and i am more confused than before. The 2 treatments are Kesimpta and Ocrevus.
If anyone can share their experience with either of these treatments i would be grateful. x
It is good that you are on the way to deciding a treatment to keep you as well as you can be. I do not have personal experience of thos particular drugs, but I have taken other DMDs for 20+ years and deifnitely credit them with keeping me as well and mobile as I am. The sooner you get started the better, and I hope that you find that whatever you choose does the trick for you and gives you some breathing space so you can heal and recover your balance after such a difficult time.
I was diagnosed after giving birth to my daughter in August. I am currently on Ocrevus, only been through the first dose and went well for me I picked it over kesimpta because of the methods I can’t imagine poking myself every month especially with a toddler and a new baby so I chose to get infusions every 6 months.
Congrats on the birth of your daughter.
After much discussion with my Husband and Children i have chosen the injections.
Let’s see hiw i get on.
Good luck to you to.
I am grateful to have came across these forums, I am 35years old and was offically diagnosed in August after symptoms began in March. I am in Scotland and started a drug called Ozanimob. I was feeling like Symptoms were improving but wondering if i am having a relapse. I have an MS nurse so in contact about what to do next. I would say I dont think i have fully accepted diagnosis and i worry about the what if and what will happen next… its a hard feeling.
