Itchy skin os unbarable! before it was my colar bone, i would scratch so much my skin was bleeding and raw. Now its my lower jaw and my hands. Itch creams dont work, any ideas?

Hi, some meds cause itchiness. For me co-codemol and diclofenec caused really bad itching, Hae you checked the side effects of your prescription meds?
Otherwise over the counter itch creams help and a cooling spray such as Magicool helped me xx
When I had itching on my arm that just wouldn’t go away my GP recommended antihistamine tablets - the ones you can buy for hayfever - they really helped

It certainly sounds like the itchyness is a result of something being out of balance INSIDE you. I’d therefore not expect any relief from a topical cream (…if it was an itch caused by a bite or sting, I’d certainly hope that a topical cream/ointment would resolve it, but in this case…)
I’m far from expert in these matters, but common sense points to a tablet - some kind of medication that you have to swallow (…mind you, this itchyness may be caused an oral medication ?!)
May be best to see your GP and get some expert advice ?

The only thing i take is a contraceptive pill, which i have been on for around 8 years, itching comes with relapses.
