Hi everyone, I was diagnosed in December and last night I started with some serious shaking in my right hand and a bit up my forearm and this morning it had started in my left. Is this likely to be a relapse? I’ve never had this symptom before which makes me think that it is; I’ve left a message for my MS nurse so hopefully she will contact me tomorrow. It could be, yes 
It’s also possible that you’re coming down with a virus or infection which is causing your MS to temporarily worsen. Always worth getting checked for a urinary tract infection: they can occur without obvious symptoms and are pretty common in MS. If it’s an infection, antibiotics often have an almost miraculous effect!
There’s not a whole lot to be done if it’s a relapse though LOTS of rest is definitely a good idea and there’s always steroids if it looks like it’s going to get bad.
I hope it turns out to be a “blip” at worst.
