Indigestion, acid reflux and lower stomach pain.

For the past week I have really started suffering with these, along with toilet urgency (I get the urge to go and I am unable to hold it as long as I used too :see_no_evil:).

The acid reflux and indigestion are horrid it hurts through to my back and my throat feels on fire. The stomach pains are at the bottom of my belly (almost to my c section scar) and around the sides.

Anyone else suffer like this, other than medication have you got any tips to help?

I suffer and have been diagnosed with Gerd aka acid reflux heartburn my go gave me medication which is to take everyday even if I’d not got any symptoms, this was, to enable my throat tissues, to settle down they were swollen due to irritation from the acid. Worked wonders and now I only take when needed. Don’t put up with it seek help. I’d a constant cough also all caused by it. My go did a test a blood test to check I’d not got an ulcer or some other underlying issue causing the issue.

It sounds like you’ve got a UTI as well as acid reflux. Get it checked out asap.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve been dealing with such discomfort lately. Acid reflux, indigestion, and toilet urgency can be incredibly bothersome. While I’m not a medical professional, I can share some tips that might help, based on my own experiences.

There are a few lifestyle changes that might offer some relief. For acid reflux and indigestion, try eating smaller, more frequent meals to avoid putting excessive pressure on your stomach. It may also help to avoid trigger foods, such as spicy or fatty dishes, and to refrain from lying down immediately after eating. Elevating your head while sleeping can help reduce reflux symptoms.

I have also tried Chinese Medicine supplements and acupuncture which I found very helpful. It’s worth exploring various options. I went to a clinic called GinSen in London for acupuncture, they seemed good enough.

Wishing you the best and hoping you find relief soon!
