In the top 10 again

Called the housing association today and was tols that the property I bid on last week that I really want has placed me in the top 10 of applicants

I really hope I get this one and think I hopefully stand a good chance as I think I meet the criterea that they think it will suit.

I really hope it’s soon as I am finding it harder to simply cross the road to post a letter and will need a mobility fairly soon.

I am also worried about starting work at M&S tomorrow and wonder if I will be able to cope even getting into the store

Concerning your MS at M&S if you contacted ‘Access to Work’ they would be able to pay for a taxi to pick you up and take you home; you only pay the equivalent bus fare. https://www.gov.uk/access-to-work

Thanks George I do have a car that my mum bought me when my last one failed it’s MOT, I cvan just about make it from my house to my car and my car to where ever I am going too.

I usually borrow a scooter when shopping and don’t use stairs but the staff room is upstairs and I will just have to hope that in my case they will let me use the lift.

Yes Poll it went great thanks was just the 1st day of induction training but was really nice and I enjoyed being back love the managers and permenant staff just wish they could keep me on past christmas.

They are really accepting of my disability and think I have a great attitrude towards things.
