I was in London with a friend the first time I had real trouble walking, it was raining and there were cobblestones (hell!) and my friend sort of whispered to me that I looked drunk! I was fine hald an hour later at Waterloo station with a flat, dry floor… no wonder I ignored things for so long!
Yeah, the stick is a necessary evil, I’ve noticed the difference already. My hip feels far worse without it and I don’t drop my feet so badly with it - but really, it should not take that much concentration to walk hey? lol. No, it really does!
