If Interferon doesn't work what will they offer instead?

Hi all Just wondering if anyone might know the answer? I had a review with both my nurse and Nero on fri, and was informed that the MRI they did early dec shows 1 new lesion on my spine, this is the second lesion since my first two years ago and I guess it is what caused the major relapse which I’m still working through since October! However I started on Rebif just prior to having the relapse, the Nero wants to do another MRI in march to compare with Decembers to work out if the Rebif is working for me or not, if its not then he would like to take me off it and suggest something else - but what else could he suggest? Back in Sep my nurse told me I had a positive dx of rrms, but the Nero on fri said he’s inclined to call my condition relapsing myelitis and that I am at a high risk of it developing into ms - I’m so confused!! Can anyone make sense of any of the above? Thank you Liana

Can’t answer on the myelitis/MS I’m afraid. But can tell you they may offer you Tysabri as a disease modifying treatment - if you’ve had two disabling relapses in two years (I think, might be two in one year)
