I have been to see the Neurologist on thursday last week and i am waiting to have another nerve test & an Mri scan as i have swelling when i bite my teeth either side of my head feels swollen.
I dont know how long it will take to be done but ive had a superpubic carheter bypassing wet through all the time using flip flow i cannot cope wearing a bag not got urology appointment till 3rd of January.

Have you spoken to your district nurses about the bypassing? I have a Foley catheter and the district nurse team are brilliant with it, they can answer every question I’ve got and they really help as well. It might be worth giving them a ring and asking them to come out to see what you can do. Are you on any tablets for your bladder? There’s quite a few to choose from, so if one doesn’t work move onto the next one, but they relax the bladder so it doesn’t get so irritated.
Morning mattewsirene38, I had a suprapubic catheter fitted about 18mths ago now and after it kept bypassing daily I ask for it taking out, as I couldn’t cope with all the hassle and my hubby who’s my full time carer was putting the washer on a number of times a day. My urologist told me that they’d been having problems with the catheter for a while and sadly this was one problem that still wasn’t resolved. My bladder is over active and I’ve been having Botox injections every 5mths for a good few years and I then self catheter to urinate, this seems to help me, my urologist has told me that in time I will nedd the suprapubic again, or a permanent bag.
