HPV vaccin

Hello everyone !!
I hope you are doing well.
I’m 29 and wishing to get the HPV vaccin. My doctor says it’s fine to have it but my friends and family say it’s risky because there is always this fear that HPV vaccin creates demyelinating diseases. So i wanted to know if you had the injection after being diagnosed? Any advice ?
Thank you for you help !! :white_heart::white_heart:
Have a good day !

No personal experience, but the NHS site does not list this as a possible side effect.

“The most common side effects of the HPV vaccine are mild and do not last long.
They can include:
swelling or pain where the injection was given
a headache
a high temperature
dizziness
feeling sick
tiredness
More serious side effects such as a severe allergic reaction are very rare. The person who vaccinates you will be trained to deal with allergic reactions and treat them immediately.”
