I have secondary progressive and have just had the booster. Within 12 hours I suffered pains (referred to as very common) in neck and all four limbs BUT I LOST THE USE OF MY LEGS!. With SPMS I can hardly walk at all and only around the house with my walker. For 24 hours after the booster I could not walk at all and could only stand for a minute or two fully aided. Fortunately I felt very tired (another side effect) and slept a lot.
Nearly back to normal now - whatever normal is for SPMS.
Spikevax may be used to boost adults who have received a primary series with Spikevax or a primary series comprised of another mRNA vaccine or adenoviral vector vaccine.
i HAVE only had Astra Zenaca. I will not use a vaccine from Pfizer. I am not booster jabbed. I got covid in hospital very mild actually ASYMPTOMATIC. Didnt know I was sick.
I made a decision as the new omicron strains are way more milder then the original, i wont be having one. i rarely go out.
Recently I was exposed to covid by an ASYMPTOMATIC person who visited me, and did not get the virus. IN FACT the figures for the new omicron is high as so many people have the virus hence that is why it is spreading so quickly as people are not aware they have it. Like the person who visited me, she was not sick or unwell. Was off work and holiday and a few days after visiting me had to have a LFT to go back to work and bingo it was positive.
I believe we are over vaccinated. I have read a lot about this MRNA vaccine and it holds some worrying precautions.
Your reaction would be typical to be honest, my sister in law was in bed 48 hours after hers and she is diabetic. She is still unwell.
If your active and go out and have not had covid, I would recommend a vaccine, safe then sorry. BUT i also know people who have had it and now got covid and are unwell. Its a personal choice and everyone really should do their own research IMHO.
