Had a relapse in March. Been unable to walk since then, with pins and needles from the neck down. Started on amitriptyline 10mg. The pins and needles have calmed down a bit and now only in my feet, hands and torso. However, at 24, can’t help but feel like I’m progressing quicker than I ever thought.

I am sorry to read that you’re in such trouble. A relapse that completely knocks you off your feet is bad by anybody’s standards. No two ways about it.
I hope that you get your mobility back soon. Fingers crossed you’re young and (I assume) you’re fairly new to MS so your capacity for healing surely gives you a better-than-average chance of a good recovery of function and I really hope things go your way.
What do your medical advisor say about the DMD you’re on (if you’re on one)? In your shoes, I would be looking to upgrade – if you’re relapsing that badly that suggests to me that whatever you’re on now isn’t getting the job done.
