Sounds fantastic Kev, well done for coping, hope you can start to really enjoy it now.

Kev it sounds brilliant! Well done you for getting through it… well the worst of it anyway… hate having builders in!
Very grim day in London today so hope it’s better where you are.

Champagne moment, folks!
we are finished! Finally got rid of the plumbers today, they have had a running skirmish with our hot supply for a week or two, and delayed this moment. Yippee! Three and a half months of noise and stress.
i say finished, some snagging, some shelves and things, but all major work is done. End of phase one. After a rest we will do phase two which should be straightforward- flooring in the new guest bedroom, and two old sash windows to be replaced with upvc.
now enjoying putting my study den romper room home studio to rights.
sorry for not posting recently, have been way down low with uti, dental infection, anxiety and stress. Now the bad tooth is out, I am feeling much much better. The world looks interesting again!
love
Kev
Glad you’re all sorted out, it’s been a really long haul for you. I hope your health continues to improve and you get your “study” as you want it. I’ve just got my sewing room to how I want it and can’t wait to get in and do something creative but chores are taking up all of my time. Like you I’ve got a few bits and pieces to do in the house but I’ll get round to them in time.
Just enjoy the peace and quiet with your house back to yourselves. The little pleasures are usually the best.

Cath, I do hope you enjoy your sewing room- somewhere to be creative and comfortable.
my big fear with my room is that I’ll get it all sorted and then have a big blank about what to do.
Shouldn’t really be a problem, I have quite a few projects on the go which all got so far on the laptop in my armchair, but need more to progress - proper sound system, things needing scanning and printing, etc etc.
Great news Kev, happy creative days ahead

Hi Kev,
What a long haul…it’s not surprising you’ve been so bad…I don’t think MS likes us to change our routine. You’ve done incredibly well! I hope you enjoy your study/den…you certainly deserve too!

Well done, pleased for you and your wife, time to enjoy now.

That is great news Kev now you can sort out your den and just play. It must be nice to see them go but at the same time the quiet must sound deafening. I was going to ring you to see how its going but as per usual couldnt find your number
Hope you are OK
