***Holy cow***Sweet little funny, no nuts***

In a convent in Ireland, the 98-year-old Mother Superior lay dying. The nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her last journey comfortable. They tried giving her warm milk to drink but she refused it. One of the nuns took the glass back to the kitchen. Then, remembering a bottle of Irish Whiskey that had been received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened it and poured a generous amount into the warm milk. Back at Mother Superior’s bed, they held the glass to her lips. The frail nun drank a little, then a little more and before they knew it, she had finished the whole glass down to the last drop. As her eyes brightened, the nuns thought it would be a good opportunity to have one last talk with their spiritual leader . " Mother," the nuns asked earnestly, “Please give us some of your wisdom before you leave us.” She raised herself up in bed on one elbow, looked at them and said: " DON’T SELL THAT COW." I am so sorry that I have not edited this post as I would normally do to make it easier to read, but for some reason the site would not allow it! I can’t even start a new line on this little message because hitting return will not work…sorry peeps, I really don’t know what’s wrong!

My brain musn’t be working this morning, had to read it three time befor I got it! Dho Very good

Holy cow…Been a while H,how are the things that you care about and don’t forget yourself in that list. Finally got The Veyron powerchair.Problems for two weeks, and now it’s been away for a week. You wouldn’t think it was built in Germany, mainly to make the promotional video.I don’t reckon anybody disabled was allowed near it when it was being designed. But,when it’s fixed 8MPH on the road in an armchair is fun…Oh,£8,000 for an overcomplicated DFS Summer Special.

You planning on gracing us with your presence for more than 20 minutes? It pains me to say it,but this place is better when…Nah,hurts too much

Laters,

S xx

Oh Bambi, you got there, that’s what counts… Stevie boy, How the devil are you, any interesting news! I would be lieing if I said we were ok because poor Robert is suffering with a sickness bug that seems to be doing the rounds & I am recovering from an MS induced fall in which I damaged my left leg, my ankle suffered the most. My leg folded underneath me as I went down…much ouchiness, but i’ll be alright. You are dangerous in/on anything with power, I hope it all gets sorted out for you, I can’t imagine them getting away with anything with you. My Breeze 4 is a blessing, I love it. I whizz about all over the place & the dogs are as fit as I would like to be… My next door neighbours could not believe their eyes the other day when they came along in their car only to see me leading a horse with one hand & Gabby (dog) peeking at them from the foot-well…they had a real giggle at that. I’ll pm you about our little furry feind. Hazel x

Good to hear from you Hazel. l can just picture you leading your horse. l have done the same - even lead 3 at a time - easier then taking just one and having the other two charging about the paddock whinnying.

Had to stop riding for a while as l have had a ‘hiphop op’ - now my knee needs replacing - hope to ride again one day. But l do escourt a friend who rides our piebald Toby - been taking him ‘off roading’ with my Tramper now that the fields have been combined.

Been busy cleaning/repairing/re-proofing the winter rugs. Fortunately, we have a launderette nearby that has a commercial washing machine dedicated to horse rugs and overalls. And we have our hay/haylage all ready for the winter.

Hope the sickness bug goes away soon

Thank you for the giggle …very much appreciated !

By the way, the ‘new line’ function doesn’t seem to work on this forum, if you use “Internet Explorer” as your Web Browser - some issue between IE and this forum’s software??

If you switch to Chrome, Firefox or Opera this issue doesn’t occur - I’ve tried all of them and stick with Firefox now!!

Good luck,

Dom
