Hi there, new to all this, my partner has recently been diagnosed with ms. I was hoping that this forum could possibly help guide me on where’s best to get the right help and support. So far, he’s had neither since his diagnosis back in January. He’s been noticing his symptoms are getting worse and we don’t know where to turn or what to do
Hi Han, I’m not quite sure what advice to offer. I was diagnosed some 16 years ago. Things did move frustratingly slowly for a while but after diagnosis my local hospital assigned me to a consultant and an MS Nurse and at a consultation with he Consultant I was put on a disease modifying drug. I get an annual MRI and appointments with he MS Nurse. The hospital also provided a programme of talks and presentations for groups of newly diagnosed. If I were you I would phone the hospital where the diagnosis was provided and ask what happens now.
