HELP shout out for breakdown recovery!

I’m after advice. Having had a few dramas with my wheelchair breaking down in parts of the UK. i don’t drive, so getting places has to be by taxi/train/ other folks car.

All goes swimmingly - untill a breakdown. I have an add on motor so when disaster struck, faced with getting 3 inert lumps of metal + luggage + me from Lancaster to Shropshire! At this point the “breakdown recovery service” say they have a limit of 15 miles. Frankly thats ridiculous!

there must be other non drivers, wheelchair users who wish to live their lives beyond 15 miles!!

Has ANYONE knowledge of a national wide recovery scheme - kind of RAC for wheelchairs??
