Hello, I’m new to the forum.
I was diagnosed 24 years ago with RRMS.
I have been incredibly lucky over this time with very few relapses and few physical issues.
Unfortunately it hit me a a big bang a few months ago.
I am now on Gabapentin, awaiting Vumerity and using a walking stick.
That said I still remain positive and try not to let this condition her me down.
So i just wanted to say hello and use this forum to het a little support and knowledge when I need it.
Thank you
Hello,
Welcome. I was dx 23 years ago? Well I remember the letter said “probable multiple sclerosis” so I just put it at the back of mind and fortunately it went away; a friend of Mum is homeopath and treated me.
I did try various DMDs after it returned a decade later but I’m currently not taking anything.
I use two nordic poles as my walking aids these days.
If homeopathy was still available on NHS, I’d like to give it another go; I’m not too keen being a DMD guinea pig again as the last one gave me really bad side effects.
Yes positive mental attitude is key to survival.
Best,
JP
