Hi everyone,I am new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself.I’ve joined the community to learn more about multiple sclerosis, connect with others who understand the journey, and gain practical advice on managing daily challenges. I really value hearing real experiences from people who are living with MS or supporting someone with it.
At the same time, I hope I can also share my own thoughts and be part of supportive conversations here.
Thank you for creating such a helpful space, and I look forward to being part of the community.
Take care everyone

Hi Wani’ welcome aboard
There’s definitely plenty of experienced folks on here - not me, I was only diagnosed recently so, I’m still trying to find my way along now.
Take care mate
Jon.
Hi @wani23 . I’ve got approximately 19 years of living with MS , most of those years with RRMS and now Secondary Progressive but with one recent new lesion ( my own view is that there is no simple difference between RRMS and SPMS - As one notable expert says ‘MS is MS’ - Professor Gavin Giovanonni ).
Feel totally free to ask me any questions about my experiences etc.

Hi mate, I’m also new to this forum and I’ve already posted two messages today. It took me six years to decide to speak on a forum, so well done for coming here. I really think it’s going to help, support is so important, even if it’s just about venting and not feeling alone

Hello Wani - nice to meet you. I was also diagnosed recently (in March) and am new to this forum. I am also looking to this forum to help me through the sometimes-bewildering amount of info out there about MS. I’m waiting for my first proper neurologist consultation since diagnosis on April 30th. I’ve already had some good advice here about how to prepare for that.
Keep well and keep posting!

Hi Pam,
Nice to meet you too, and thank you for your message.
It sounds like we’re in a very similar stage, trying to understand everything after a recent diagnosis. I can relate to what you said about the overwhelming amount of information out there.
I hope your appointment on April 30th goes well and gives you some clarity. It’s great that you’re already getting helpful advice here—I’ve found that really reassuring too.
Keep well and take care, and I look forward to seeing you around the forum.

Hi Jon,
Thank you for the warm welcome, I really appreciate it.
It’s good to hear from someone who is also early in their diagnosis journey. I understand it can feel a bit uncertain at the beginning, but it’s encouraging that we can all learn from each other here.
Wishing you all the best as you find your way forward as well. Take care
