Hi I have been living with MS for almost 15 years. My husband is my carer after taking early retirement. As the sun is a great healer we have decided to look into moving to Fuerteventura. Does anyone have any advise regarding the health insurance over there? We need to budget for this but can’t find an insurance company that is willing to insure me as of yet.
Hi, A good place to start if you haven’t already, is to find out some information about living there. I typed into Google ‘moving to the canaries health insurance’ and the following information titled ‘Healthcare for UK nationals living in Spain’, it is on the www.gov.uk.
Alternatively, could live out there for the warmer months of the year and rent out your home here?
