I am in the process of booking a trip to Australia. I have relapsing and remitting MS. Who have people used for insurance?
I’ve just taken out cover with staysure, l phoned up to speak to them as l didn’t want any misunderstandings regarding cover.

I have just used a local shop near to me, it is based in Crewe. It cost me just over 20 pounds to go abroad for a week. They are very helpful, always send the policy in the post (not like some who are online) and are very prompt. The policy they gave me was very thorough in all respects and covered all sorts of emergencies and health care. If you would like the number let me know. I use them whenever I go anywhere mainly because they are thoughtful and not like the big firms where you have to wait for ages in the queue.

My husband has cancer along with other health conditions plus my ms has only just been diagnosed properly after 10 yrs … I did a comparison quote that came out at …wait for it …£ 1400 for a week in Europe ! I was advised to look at insurewith… I did a rough quote and apart from making an error in hubby medicine I got if down to I think 190 …the ms questions were sensible so I think they have a realistic approach to assessing the risk rather than assume we are going to relapse as soon as we get on a plane !
