Headache Help?

With my ms I always have a headache which varies how intense it is, however recently it’s been in the 7 -9s on the pain scale. I was wondering what ideas people have that they use to ease thier pain and headaches except for plain analgesia, as paracetamol and ibuprofen do nowt. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Is it headache, or is it more of a face ache? If it’s severe pain, and facial, it might be a thing called trigeminal neuralgia, which is not uncommon with MS. It’s when the nerves to the face are affected. There are specific painkillers prescribed for this - carbamazepine (brand name Tegretol) is one of the most common, I think. It’s also prescribed for epilepsy.
