as well as feeling like the grinch before christmas, i’m generally in a bad mood.
i’m trying not to take it out on innocent bystanders so i was delighted to get one of those scam phone calls earlier today.
you know the ones where you answer the phone and then have to wait for the other person to speak?
man with indian accent said “hello there, are you feeling well?” (dont get me started because actually i’m not feeling well)
“i need to tell you that your computer has shown up as having a virus”
me: “there’s nothing wrong with my computer”
him: “it will cost you a lot of money if you don’t deal with it now”
me: “this is a scam. i’ve heard about this one so just p*ss off!” (last 2 words spoken very loudly)
whew, that felt good!

ps i’ll be sweetness and light for the rest of the week
The very best way to stay away from scams is to always be cautious in your spending, but it is not always possible. Scammers generally have good ways to steal your money and can sweet-talk individuals into giving it up. At the very least, you can always get a no credit check payday loan to pay the bills if your cash was taken while you try to recover it. Get more information at: No Credit Check Payday Loan
