I made enquiries for a private neuro, but the consultation fees and potential cost of further scans priced me out of it. That kind of money is better spent on my family at the moment.
So after a long wait I’m off to see an NHS neurologist this week.
Hopefully I can get some answers.

Well, more waiting. The neuro I saw homed in one one particular symptom (pains in my legs) and decided that the rest are unrelated.
No explanation for eye sight problems, spasms or fatigue. Trigeminal neuralgia is a coincidence and the numbness/weakness in my arms and hands are unexplained.
I’m being sent for another MRI and will be seen in 6-12 months.

Hi Phantom,
I’m sorry youre being sent from pillar to post. It must be horrible.
I love in the Highlands and looked at a private neurologist, but the closest is in Manchester. Too far for me.
I feel like I’m a hypochondriac. I have problems with balance, I have TN too, muscle spasms in my whole body that come and go and tinnitus. In April I had pins and needles in my right legs and numbing in my right arm (even though I had my carpal tunnel done) and a buzzing feeling in my head, but this disappeared after a week.
The GP on Monday told me that the tinnitus could be earwax, so I have drops but nothings happening, the balance thing could be because of the tinnitus and the spams she said stress or anxiety, probably because of the TN… So, basically, nothing.
Still have to wait for the neurologist.
