Does anyone else wake up at night suddenly gasping for breath and coughing /choking? I’ve been having this quite a lot recently and wondered if it was ms related? I also get frequent “thunderbolts” of severe pain in various parts of my neck, which stun and immobilise me momentarily. with a feeling of warmth in the area after they strike - what are they? Agony!
yes i get this now and then, its so scary, you feel as though you arent going to get breathing again, dont you ? the first time it happened to me, years ago, i was really scared, i am pleased it doesnt happen too much. jaki xx

I agree, jaki, very scary indeed. Do you know if it’s ms related? I’ve never mentioned it to neuro, and wonder if I should? x
