I’ve recently been put on gabapentin & am struggling to find the rules around taking it abroad (Portugal). Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

I thought you could but im not on it so dont know for sure. Always worth having a letter form Dr/MS nurse…I did that when I went on holiday because of injections and FES but I didn’t actually need it but it was just in case

I’ve been on Gabapentin for almost 10 years, and have not had any problems taking my medication with me; the advice I was given was:
Keep the medication in the original packaging - labelled clearly as yours by the pharmacy.
Take 2 copies of your prescription/repeat prescription with you.
Keep all medication with you in your carry on bag.
Your Pharmacist will probably be able to advise with regard to any other precautions you might need to take.
