Float like a butterfly, stumble like a drunk…

I went to Tate Britain yesterday…

I like “that sort of thing…”:expressionless:

There’s a very large piece, commissioned by the Tate, named, “Procession” by Hugh Locke…

It’s a collection of fantastical figures in… well, Procession.

So, my idea is to walk, as quickly as possible, along the group, filming…
On viewing the film back, it should give a sense of “movement” to the procession figures…
I have, it does, and you’d swear some of the figure actually move…

The first attempt at filming didn’t go as well as I’d hoped…:grimacing:

In filming, not looking, I err… “bumped” one of the figures…
It was requested, by a staff member, I move away, behind the line, I hadn’t seen, honest Guv…
I played the trump card…
“I’m terribly sorry, but I have Multiple Sclerosis, and my coordination can be unpredictable…”
(so, now how do you feel, mate?)

There was a little awkwardness, but after he left I did another, better film…
Using the line on the floor as a guide…:+1:

I’ve posted it on IG…
Not certain about links to here…

Stay tuned for…
Disturbing visit to Science Museum…
Hilarious visit to Tim Hunkin’s Novelty Automation…

Glad you enjoyed yourself! Sounds like fun.

Heat was the only real problem…
I did have a nnnnnnnggggggg moment outside Pimlico Tube Station, but an elderly gent asked me if I was O.K. and then pointed me at the Tate…

The “take-away” for me was realising my M.S. is as under control as it will ever be and my current difficulties all relate to Sertaline withdrawals…

BTW… the underground walk from Sth. Ken Tube to the Science Museum isn’t a good experience…
More like the shift change in Metropolis…:frowning_with_open_mouth:
