first appt with ms nurse tomoz

Hi everyone, Well tomorrow I have my first appt with the nurse and to say I’m scared would be an understatement. I posted a few days ago about my anxiety and the muscle spasms I was having, well they seemed to be getting better except that I’m now worked up about tomoz and the pins and needles are back with a vengeance and I have a tense right knee, oh and a little numbness on the left side of my nose and cheek. Can anyone tell me what to expect tomoz and that hopefully these symptoms will subside somewhat eventually… Thank you Nic x

Hi Nic, well I dont think seeing an MS nurse will be harmful in any way. in my experience she/he will ask what your symptoms are and see if they know of anything to help reduce the problems.

Are diagnosed yet? You dont have to be, to get to see an MS nurse. They can also refer you to services such as physio, OTs and continence service.

hope the meeting goes better than you anticipate. Let us know yeh?

Hi Poll I was diagnosed on Monday, my GP asked them for an appt for me because of my anxiety and panic attacks. At the moment I seem to worry about everything, which I suppose is worry of the unknown. Thank you so much for the response, this site is great for lifting my spirits. Nic x
