Hello guys, Just wanted to talk to someone who can understand. All I did yesterday was go for an eye check, in my wheelchair but walked around the little office. Well, last night I woke up in agony and today I can’t move my right hand at all, have excrutiating pain across both thighs and can’t move my left elbow with bad stabbing pains. Surely this can’t be right ? I can’t do anything anymore

Hi krissy, sorry to read you feel so low.
I do think the time of year adds to our low moods.
I also have a painful elbow. It started about 2 months ago and is getting worse…another pain to add for when I see GP.
Have you been diagnosed yet? What, if any, meds re you on hun? I am wondering about your pain across your thighs. Is this new? It might be nerve pain.
Are you due to see a neuro?

Hiya Poll, I was told rrms and im on amitriptaline and gabapentin and tramadol for constant nerve pain. The thigh pain is always there to some degree but the elbow pain is new and sharp as a knife, I normally suffer if I really push myself e.g. A visit to my parents or such but its getting ridiculous now. Incidentally my neuro has asked me to have another lumbar puncture. I dont really understamd why ? I will give him w ring when im feeling bit better. Sorry to hear your suffering it too hun xx

Well as you are already dx`d, why is there need for an lp, I wonder?
I wonder if your pain relief meds need tweaking?
I am waiting the results of my recent scan. If it shows nothing, as I expect, then I intend to see my GP re my pain relief.

Hi again Poll, I can’t work that one out myself but I guess i’ll find iut soon. Yea im only on a low dose of gabapentin not the full dose yet so maybe i’ll feel better when its at full strength. Thanks for talking to me its much appreciated and i Hope u get some relief soon hun xx
